The Hike

This one is close to my grandmother’s home village, so I’ve been keen to check out Burg Maienfels for a while.

After a few very hot days, the temperatures finally came down a bit and the rain rolled in which made the hike even more beautiful.

Overall, the hike was 3h with a reasonable up and down, a variety of forrest, fields and quaint villages.

The bow and arrow shooting range with the forrest animal figurines towards the end of the hike
